Refund and Returns Policy for Derjam Business Solutions

At Derjam Business Solutions, we are committed to providing you with high-quality hardware and building materials. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations or may arrive damaged. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Return Window: Our refund and returns policy lasts 7 days from the date of purchase. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
- Condition of Item: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging. Products that show signs of use, installation, or damage not due to our error will not be accepted.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned due to their nature or specific use in construction. These include, but are not limited to:
- Custom-cut materials (e.g., MDF boards cut to specific dimensions).
- Perishable goods (if applicable to any future product lines).
- Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases.
- Items that have been installed or show clear signs of use.
- Products missing original packaging or components.
3. Partial Refunds
In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item returned more than 7 days after delivery.
4. Refunds Process
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a specified number of business days.
- Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account, contact your credit card company, and then your bank. There is often a processing time before a refund is officially posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@derjamsolutions.co.ke.
- Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are not eligible for refunds.
5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange an item for the same product due to a defect or damage, please contact us immediately at info@derjamsolutions.co.ke to arrange the exchange. You may be required to return the defective item to our physical location.
6. Shipping Returns
To return your product, you should mail or deliver your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. For valuable items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
